Clemens was Ferdinand’s first born son.

A 1918 Farmers Directory records Clemens and his wife Josephine living on and farming the 180 acres owned by Ferdinand.

My Father recalls that Clemens and Josie had a livestock vet business, but it wasn’t all that profitable due to the size of the community and animals.

The 1950 US Census and grave tell us that Clemens and Josie retired and lived out life in Fonda, IA.
